What job skills do we need for the future? A popular question that comes up a lot. In a Recent Post, I listed several: emotional intelligence, creativity, flexibility, adaptability, data literacy, and technology savviness. This Tweet of a World Economic Forum video adds complex problem solving, critical thinking, people management, working with others, and decision making to the list.
Our Future Capability Profile places a premium on right brain characteristics. The capabilities in the visual form the foundation for a future where automation plays a much bigger role. Everything else will be in a constant state of flux – captured brilliantly by a famous Futurist:

I think the one trait robots can never match humans is intuition. It is inherent in some and gained by experience in others.

Can’t say, if a robot/machine learning software can read millions of books within short span of time, I do not think developing intuition would be difficult for it. As it is developing all other Human quality slowly, soon it might now be difficult. I think so.
