I am a futurist, author, and keynote speaker with more than 40 years of executive leadership experience. As Principal Futurist at Tata Consultancy Services, I work with leaders around the world to understand how systemic change is forming across science, technology, society, geopolitics, economics, environment, and philosophy.
My new book, Inside the Next Transition: Seeing Systemic Change Before Pathways Harden, begins with a simple idea: we are already living inside the next transition, even though much of it is not yet visible. People often feel the pressure of change before institutions know how to name it, and much of my work is focused on making that pressure easier to see.
Systemic change rarely arrives as one event. It develops as forces move at different speeds, interact across domains, and place growing strain on systems built for older assumptions. That pressure often appears first in ordinary life, through rising effort, delayed decisions, weakened trust, changing work, and institutions that no longer fit the conditions around them.
I developed Possibility Chains to help make those emerging pathways more visible. They trace how forces move across time and domains, where pressure begins to build, and what choices may still be available before pathways become harder to change. The purpose is not to predict one future, but to help leaders see systemic change early enough to preserve room to act.
My work brings together foresight, history, technology, strategy, and lived human experience. Through keynotes, writing, executive discussions, and research, I help organizations explore possible futures, understand where pressure is already landing, and think more clearly about readiness in a period of accelerating change.
