This week, I had the pleasure of participating in the Brandweek Sports Marketing Summit. The event, which continues through November 19th, provides an opportunity to hear from leading sports figures on and off the field, court, and track, on how they successfully navigated a very difficult year.
I joined along with TCS colleagues Scott Daniels and Michelle Taylor to talk about the future of sports. I developed a Perspective on the topic back in 2017 when asked to present my thoughts at a Rutgers athletic fundraiser. That future appears to be accelerating, as rapid advances in technology (specifically 5G) get a boost from a pandemic that has otherwise been disruptive.
